Post Prom

Post Prom is our after prom event where students can go to keep the fun going!

Students spend a lot of time and money to get glammed up for a night of dancing and making memories with their friends and classmates. We know that once the music is over they don't want to just go home. So we offer East Junior and Senior students and their date a fun and safe after prom event where they can continue to make memories! Post prom has entertainment, food, games, and prizes for the kids to make the night one to remember.

We always need volunteers and donations to keep this going. This is our biggest event and takes the most manpower and financial giving to make happen.

Trunk or Treat

Our yearly Fall event is back! We continue to serve over 1,000 trick or treaters in our community! This years Trunk-or-Treat will be held on Thursday October 29th from 6:30-8:30 at East High Schools West lot.

Trunk or Treat encourages East Students, staff, clubs, teams and surrounding community to use their imagination and team spirit to decorate a car and pass out treats to the neighborhood kids. This is a fun way to give back to the community while showing off your creativity! Each East High School student affiliated team or club will get a bag of candy for your car from Scarlet Pride to help get you started.

This is a free event with music, fun and games in a safe family friendly environment. Prizes will be given for best decorated car and best costume.

Each year this event grows larger and larger and we hope that continues!

Spring and Fall Community clean up and Beautification

Join us as we take pride in the East Side by cleaning up the areas around our school community, fields and stadiums. We will need help with pulling weeds, plantings flowers, creating flower beds, picking up trash, lawncare, scrapping and painting. This is a great way for our students to learn the importance of taking care of their space and community. It gives our kids the opportunity to learn new skills build confidence, and a sense of pride. We will hold these events twice a year, once in late spring early summer and another in later summer early fall. Dates will be determined closer to time of projects and are dependent on needs and number of volunteers. Join our beautification community to stay up to date.

Other events

Throughout the year we have one time events that pop up to meet the needs of our students or community. These may include snack drives to keep our kids nourished. Shoe or sports equipment drives to make sure our kids have what they need to be able to compete at a safe and fair level. Community events or fundraising nights.
